Very little went right for the Kansas City Chiefs in this game. If you told anyone before the games that the Chiefs wouldn’t even score a touchdown, well, they probably would have scoffed in your face. They went down swinging and didn’t give up on each other, but in the end, it wasn’t enough to pull out a victory.

Credit to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they had a great gameplan on both sides of the ball and executed it to perfection. In the end, they were able to claim a 31-9 victory over Kansas City.

Quick-hitting analysis

The start to this game felt pretty even-keeled. Both defenses managed to shut out the opposing offenses the first time around. It looked like it was going to be a fairly tight game, but things quickly spiraled out of control for Kansas City.
The run defense really only looked good at one point during this game and that was the fourth-down goal-line stand. There were numerous runs of double-digit yardage moving the sticks for the Buccaneers. That made things way-too-easy for Tom Brady because the defense really had to key in on the run game. It opened up the play-action passing game and had the Chiefs defense playing on their heels for the majority of the game.
Brady knows how to find a defensive weakness and exploit it better than any quarterback in the game right now. He did that with the Chiefs, moving the sticks three times throwing the ball to Leonard Fournette matched up with Cheap Ben Niemann Jersey in coverage. It has long been the biggest weakness for Kansas City, but few teams have exploited it this season. Brady did.
The offensive line was overmatched basically the entire game. Cheap Patrick Mahomes Jersey made them look better than they were at times, working his way out of pressure on a number of occasions. In the final stat-sheet, they only surrendered 3 sacks, but it probably should have been ten. Really, Shaq Barrett was just defeating the blocks from Cheap Andrew Wylie Jersey and Cheap Mike Remmers Jersey far too quickly. It didn’t allow for Mahomes to scan the field and for the deep and intermediate routes to develop. He was basically on the run immediately after the ball was snapped on every play.
Penalties were a massive problem defensively and as soon as the officials started calling them, the team started playing very tentatively. By the time they seemed to get their mojo back, the Bucs could simply lean on the run game.
The coaching could have been much better in this game for the Chiefs. On defense, they had no answer for Rob Gronkowski and the running back group. On offense, they struggled to get any sort of rhythm going because of the offensive line play. There weren’t many adjustments made and they probably could have gone to a no-huddle offense much sooner.
Mahomes deserves just so much credit for his performance. Box-score watchers will play it off as if he didn’t have a good game, but he was truly remarkable. He did so much to try and will this team to victory, there was just too much adversity to overcome. He was throwing prayers up while being tackled to the ground and nearly making them happen.
How the Chiefs manage to bounce back from this Super Bowl loss in 2021 will tell us a lot about their future. They can rise to the occasion and use this loss to motivate the team to future success or they can continue to spiral. They get to choose how they respond to it.

The 2021 NFL offseason is here for the Chiefs. That means it’s general manager Brett Veach’s time to shine. He’ll begin to enact his plans ahead of free agency and the 2021 NFL draft in order to construct the best possible team for next season. After watching Super Bowl LV, I’d suggest he start on the offensive and defensive line.

When the Kansas City Chiefs kick an extra point after a Cheap Patrick Mahomes Jersey touchdown pass, it gives James Winchester a chance to get on the field. Luckily for the 31-year-old long snapper, that happens quite often when your team has one of the league’s most explosive offenses.

Unfortunately for Winchester, he suffered a devastating loss early in his NFL career when his father was brutally murdered by a former Army marksman in an airport parking lot.

And as it turns out, the death of Mike Winchester may have been a case of an ex-employee carrying out his revenge in the most brutal way possible.

A big thank you to former #Sooners 🏈 player and current member of the @Chiefs James Winchester for talking to the squad this morning!

From walk-on to pro, he’s what we like to call a #TryHardKid. 👏☝️ #OUDNA

An Oklahoma native, Cheap James Winchester Jersey has football in genes. His father, Michael Winchester, was a punter for the University of Oklahoma football team from 1984-85.

His son also played his college ball for the Sooners.

However, James Winchester didn’t get blessed with the ability to kick a football. Instead, he played a key role as the team’s long snapper.

Although the 6-foot-3, 240-pound special-teamer did not get selected in the 2013 NFL draft, that didn’t stop him from pursuing his dream of becoming a professional long snapper.

It just took a little longer than expected for Winchester to finally find the right fit for his services.

Since signing with the Chiefs in March 2015, he has held down the long snapper position. In 2017, he signed a five-year, $4.45 million contract extension. With nearly 100 games under his belt, the veteran has provided stability and consistency at a quietly critical position.

But in the middle of his second season with the Chiefs, Winchester tragically lost his father in a fatal shooting incident that occurred at an airport.

On Nov. 15, 2016, James Winchester’s life changed forever.

Unfortunately for the Chiefs long snapper, that day represented the end of his father’s time on Earth.

Michael Winchester, an employee of Southwest Airlines, got shot in a parking lot around 1 p.m. at Will Rogers World Airport. He later died at a hospital, according to Terez Paylor of The Kansas City Star.

Immediately, questions arose about why someone would kill the 52-year-old, who seemingly had no reason to be a victim of gun violence.

Capt. Paco Balderrama of the Oklahoma City police said a white male suspect was found dead with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head inside of a red pickup truck on the second level of an airport parking garage.

“We do believe this was a premeditated act,” Balderrama said in the aftermath of Winchester’s murder. “This was not random. Obviously the investigation is ongoing, in relation to the details.”

The offense was pedestrian thanks to Design Your Own Football Jersey

Harrison Butker was once again automatic on Sunday night in Super Bowl 55.
Last night’s Super Bowl did not go well to say the least for the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs looking to defend their Super Bowl 54 title were trounced 31-9 by Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers en route to Tamp Bay’s second Super Bowl title and Tom Brady’s seventh.

In such a loss, it’s safe to say there weren’t many bright spots for Kansas City. The offense was pedestrian thanks to a horrid offensive line and while Cheap Patrick Mahomes Jersey tried everything he could, a slow start for him was too in part too much to overcome for the Chiefs. Their defense struggled to slow down Tamp Bay and their play calling and clock management left much to be desired. That being said, one bright spot for the Chiefs was former Yellow Jacket, place kicker Cheap Harrison Butker Jersey.

Butker was the only Chief to get on the board Sunday night, making all three of his field goal attempts. He connected on field goals from 49, 34, and 52 in the valiant but losing effort. Unfortunately for him and the Chiefs, you simply don’t win Super Bowls by just making field goals.

For Butker, it was a second-straight strong Super Bowl performance after going four for four in extra points and one for one in field goal opportunities in Super Bowl 54. It was also the continuation of being a strong playoff performer, as he is now 32-for-34 in extra points and 11-for-13 in field goal attempts over the course of nine games in the post season.

His level of success in the playoffs should come as no surprise as he currently sits second all-time in field goal percentage in NFL history. The former Yellow Jacket who made just 71.7% (43-of-60) attempts in college, has made 90.29% (121-for-134) of his attempts in the NFL. He sits behind only the Baltimore Ravens Justin Tucker, widely considered the best kicker in the history of the NFL, who has made 90.65% of his field goals over his nine year career.

It’s safe to say Butker has come a long way from his early days at Georgia Tech where he made just 65% (28-of-43) of his kicks through his first three seasons on The Flats. However, since his junior season in which he made 7-of-11 attempts, he has been dynamite. When including his senior year (15-of-17) with the Jackets, he has now made an amazing 136 of 151 field goal attempts. An amazing mark of consistency.

While they didn’t finish the season the way they wanted, congrats to Harrison and the Kansas City Chiefs on a great season.
