Super Bowl LV certainly didn’t start the way Kansas City Chiefs fans would have hoped. The Chiefs were flagged for several crucial penalties, failed to get in the endzone over their first four offensive drives, and kept the Buccaneers in good field position thanks to a series of subpar punts from Cheap Tommy Townsend Jersey.

Townsend, a 24-year-old rookie, isn’t exactly used to punting in pressure scenarios. Entering the Super Bowl, Townsend punted just once in these playoffs, and was one of the least-active punters in the league thanks to the Chiefs’ high-powered offense.

Townsend boomed a 51-yard punt on the Chiefs’ first drive, but managed just 27 yards on his second punt, and had a dangerous moment during his third attempt. Townsend dropped the snap, but was able to grab the ball and kick a 56-yarder. Unfortunately for him, the punt was negated by a penalty, and his follow-up attempt was shanked and went just 29 yards.

Unsurprisingly, fans were not impressed.

WTH!!!!! This rookie punter @Townsend looks too damn scared to be out there. What in the hell are you doing, shanking a punt that badly???

On one side.. the world is realizing the importance of a punter on the grandest stage.

And on the other side like… The Brand is currently taking a beating on the internet.

Kindof conflicted.. TT gonna turn it around… Right?

feel like I’ve been gone for Custom Volleyball Jerseys

No matter how a practice or game goes for Chiefs defensive lineman Cheap Derrick Nnadi Jersey, he knows he’ll receive a warm welcome once he arrives home.

That’s because there are two dogs waiting for him: 3-year-old Rocky and 2-year-old Sam.

“It doesn’t matter if it’s morning, noon or night, the second I get home, they feel like I’ve been gone for 50 years,” Nnadi said at Thursday’s Super Bowl news conference. “They’re just immediately happy, jumping, like the second I get out of the car, the oldest one is just barking, looking out the window like, ‘Oh my gosh you’re home.’

“(I) come up, open the door, he’s jumping at me, happy to see me. He runs out, grabs a toy, shows me the toy like, ‘Oh let’s play.’ The younger one, he already has a toy in his mouth, happy, shaking, wagging, every single time.”

Dogs are an important part of Nnadi’s life, and not just the two with which he shares his home. Nnadi, who is in his third season with the Chiefs, has made a point of helping shelter animals.

After the Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV last year, Nnadi revealed he would pay the adoption fees of 108 dogs at KC Pet Project. His generosity became a national story.

That came after he paid adoption fees following every Chiefs win — 15 in the 2019 season. This season, he did the same, helping 16 dogs find a forever home.

Nnadi said he has a surprise planned for after the Super Bowl LV.

“I don’t want to put all the details out,” Nnadi said. “When the situation happens, it’ll be put out.”

He didn’t say if the surprise is dependent on the Chiefs winning Super Bowl LV … but that, of course, is Nnadi’s goal.

To help his team win a second straight NFL title, Nnadi will focus on what he does best: stopping the run. But he noted the Buccaneers have a pair of tough backs in Ronald Jones II and Leonard Fournette.

“They’re both great backs,” Nnadi said. “Leonard Fournette is a phenomenal runner from when he was at Jacksonville and even LSU. …

“The other one, he’s dynamite. I like how he plays. Fast guy, he fights for every inch he gets.”

While Nnadi doesn’t have statistics that the average fan might notice — he has one career sack and one career interception — he takes pride in stopping the run.

“I feel like every team, if they can’t stop the run, it takes a punch in the gut for the whole game plan,” he said. “And if I stop that, it’s just one more step toward victory.”

Landon Dickerson of Alabama Create Your Own Hockey Jersey

The KC Chiefs need help along the interior line and Landon Dickerson could make sense for them, but he’d be a risky selection at pick No. 31.

One thing was clear in the Super Bowl and that was that the Kansas City Chiefs‘ offensive line was atrocious. Obviously, there were a lot of injuries along the line, which led to the unit getting dominated by the Bucs’ defensive front, but still, the Chiefs have needs at offensive line and the draft is a good way to address them.

In Daniel Jeremiah’s second mock draft, he had the Chiefs taking Landon Dickerson of Alabama at pick No. 31. While this would fill a big need for the Chiefs, there’s some hesitance with Dickerson, as he injured his ACL last season.

Dickerson, who’s recovering from an ACL tear, comes with durability concerns, but the Chiefs are in position to make this type of bet on the best interior O-lineman in the draft.

As Jeremiah notes, the injury is a concern and for a team that already has experienced having to manage with a beat-up offensive line, this could be something that scares KC off from Dickerson. However, Jeremiah also made sure to mention that Dickerson is the best interior lineman in the draft and that’s something the Chiefs might find worth the risk.

Dickerson is listed as a center and the Chiefs could lose center Cheap Austin Reiter Jersey this offseason to free agency. Even if they manage to re-sign Reiter, selecting Dickerson and letting him have plenty of time to rest up and get healthy wouldn’t be a bad idea. Reiter is honestly the best center in free agency though and he might end up elsewhere.

The KC Chiefs need to address their offensive line issues in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Landon Dickerson might fall to the end of the first round because of his injury and if he does, the Chiefs will have a tough decision to make. Do they spend the No. 31 pick on a guy who recently tore his ACL and is still recovering? There’s a chance he doesn’t bounce back from it and this goes down as a terrible draft choice.

At the same time, however, there’s a chance Dickerson recovers just fine and becomes the best o-lineman on the Chiefs’ roster. Brett Veach will have to decide if this gamble is worth it or if there’s someone else on the board that interests him at No. 31 overall.
