Harrison Butker was once again automatic on Sunday night in Super Bowl 55.
Last night’s Super Bowl did not go well to say the least for the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs looking to defend their Super Bowl 54 title were trounced 31-9 by Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers en route to Tamp Bay’s second Super Bowl title and Tom Brady’s seventh.

In such a loss, it’s safe to say there weren’t many bright spots for Kansas City. The offense was pedestrian thanks to a horrid offensive line and while Cheap Patrick Mahomes Jersey tried everything he could, a slow start for him was too in part too much to overcome for the Chiefs. Their defense struggled to slow down Tamp Bay and their play calling and clock management left much to be desired. That being said, one bright spot for the Chiefs was former Yellow Jacket, place kicker Cheap Harrison Butker Jersey.

Butker was the only Chief to get on the board Sunday night, making all three of his field goal attempts. He connected on field goals from 49, 34, and 52 in the valiant but losing effort. Unfortunately for him and the Chiefs, you simply don’t win Super Bowls by just making field goals.

For Butker, it was a second-straight strong Super Bowl performance after going four for four in extra points and one for one in field goal opportunities in Super Bowl 54. It was also the continuation of being a strong playoff performer, as he is now 32-for-34 in extra points and 11-for-13 in field goal attempts over the course of nine games in the post season.

His level of success in the playoffs should come as no surprise as he currently sits second all-time in field goal percentage in NFL history. The former Yellow Jacket who made just 71.7% (43-of-60) attempts in college, has made 90.29% (121-for-134) of his attempts in the NFL. He sits behind only the Baltimore Ravens Justin Tucker, widely considered the best kicker in the history of the NFL, who has made 90.65% of his field goals over his nine year career.

It’s safe to say Butker has come a long way from his early days at Georgia Tech where he made just 65% (28-of-43) of his kicks through his first three seasons on The Flats. However, since his junior season in which he made 7-of-11 attempts, he has been dynamite. When including his senior year (15-of-17) with the Jackets, he has now made an amazing 136 of 151 field goal attempts. An amazing mark of consistency.

While they didn’t finish the season the way they wanted, congrats to Harrison and the Kansas City Chiefs on a great season.
